Strictly Come Dancing star Toyah Willcox has revealed that a health scare more than a decade ago led to her landing the "best boobs ever".

In an unearthed episode of How To Be 60 with Kaye Adams from July 2022, she opened up about her 'Sunday Lunch' YouTube videos, which see Toyah and her rock guitarist husband, Robert Fripp, perform covers of popular songs.

The punk icon, who has been known to appear scantily clad in the videos, described them as "outrageous" but pointed out that they'd been making the videos in an effort to "make people laugh".

Kaye said that she'd been "bingeing" the episodes before later telling Toyah that her "breasts are magnificent" and like the "eighth and ninth wonders of the world", which led Toyah to explain how she landed the "best boobs ever".

Toyah said: "Well, they do have a time limit. Robert says to me quite often, 'How long can we keep this up for?' And I say, 'Well, as long as my boobs hold out'. I think we're giving it another two years."

She went on to say: "I had a cancer scare about 10 years ago and I had reconstructive surgery and my surgeon was just absolutely brilliant.

"He gave me the best boobs ever and they're natural. I don't have implants or anything. So he just had to remove a lump and then he had to make my boobs even and he just did the best job in the world."

The 'It's A Mystery' singer explained that this was another reason why she believes women should be "free to show their bodies", saying that they "go through remarkable things".

She also said women survive "so much on physical and psychological levels" and thinks they should be "proud of who and what we are" no matter "what age or what shape we are".

Toyah only just survived elimination from Strictly Come Dancing last weekend after facing a dance-off with Tom Dean. In Strictly's feIt Takes Two with Fleur East', Toyah revealed she felt "heartbroken".

Fleur asked: "The first red light moment of the series. What was it like finding yourself in that position?"

Toyah replied: "Really, frightening, upsetting, disappointing, heartbreaking, everything that's a negative was in that moment. It was shocking."

The Strictly Come Dancing results show takes place at 7.15pm on BBC One tonight (Sunday, October 6).
