Amazon knocks 60% off 'life-changing' Echo Dot in flash sale and fans say 'you can't fault it'

Amazon has launched a huge flash sale on a range of tech ahead of their Prime Big Deal Days event next week. Prime Big Deal Days runs on Amazon on Tuesday, October 8, and Wednesday, October 9.

And ahead of the sale event, you can pick up the 'life-changing' Echo Dot with nearly 60 per cent off! Shoppers who have already snapped up the Echo Dot say 'you can't fault it'.

Normally priced at £54.99, the fifth generation device which was released in 2022 is now just £22.99 - a huge 58 per cent saving. But you'll have to be quick, as the deal only lasts until October 16.

The Echo Dot is available in three colours to match your home decor - deep sea blue, charcoal and glacier white. You can also access huge savings by buying it as part of a bundle - such as with the Amazon Basics Smart Plug, should be £66.98 but now £27.99.

The Echo Dot has a 4.7 star rating on Amazon currently. Bo said: "This is a very compact addition to my main Alexa. Easy to set up and connect. I recommend that you purchase the stand as well as it is sold separately. I cannot fault the sound quality and voice recognition was easy to install. Performs as expected. Bought it when it was at a special reduced price so it was excellent value for money. Really pleased with my echo."

And Ojo added: "Quick to respond and speaker quality is nice. Always respond well and very efficient. Love it and it is a product to get for every household."

However Catherine said: "I have just received my Alexa Echo dot and set it up quite easily. The problem is that it doesn't play anything I am asking but something else. It won't play anything from Spotify. The only thing it plays when I ask is Classic FM... I am so disappointed... Total waste of money..."
