Sunday Brunch fans "can't stand" one of the show's guests on Channel 4 today - and have hit out at her inclusion. Lulu was on the show, being interviewed by hosts Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer, during the broadcast on September 29.

A Twitter/X user fumed: "I can't stand LuLu, always prattling on about herself and the sixties still believing she is relevant. #sundaybrunch " A second typed: "5 minutes passed without LuLu talking about herself, so she then chips in with a banal statement about camels. Bring back Rosie Jones. #sundaybrunch "

"Surely Lulu should be a ‘Dame’ by now. Purely in recognition of her tireless dedication to champagne #SundayBrunch," another wrote. "Christ, Lulu, don't start #sundaybrunch," another commented on Twitter, now X, as the episode played out.

Another slammed the show by saying: "Ah yes Dubai Where you cant have a drink and being gay means youll be tortured in prison. F***ing awful place. Shame on you #sundaybrunch for promoting it." A second replied: "you can drink alcohol anywhere and buy it from huge booze shops. Being gay is not an issue either, it’s just not flaunted openly."

"Can't have a drink in Dubai? You really have lived a sheltered life haven't you?" another wrote. "Lulu and Craig David on the same show is too much torture for anyone to deal with. See you next week... #SundayBrunch #SundayBrunchC4," said another.

Another said: "Not sure who these two are but they’re giving off smelly student gap year vibes #sundaybrunch " Web users were less than impressed with the cast which included Lulu, Craig David, Chris Chung, Alexandra Roach and Wings of Desire.

The show airs each and every Sunday on Channel 4 with Tim and chef Simon at the helm. The episode aired from 9.30am on Sunday, September 29, with the pair back hosting.
