Molly-Mae Hague has admitted a mistake she and Tommy Fury made with their daughter Bambi which 'sends shivers down her spine'. The former Love Island star confessed she 'had no idea' what she was doing when her young daughter was born.

The 25-year-old revealed that her and then-partner Tommy Fury 'were having a breakdown' in the first few weeks following their daughter's birth in January 2023. Molly-Mae - who recently launched her own fashion line - is currently raising Bambi as a single mother after ending her engagement to boxer Tommy in August.

Their split came five years after they met in the Love Island villa. Tommy recently revealed he is determined to win back his former fiancée's trust back and reunite their family.

Speaking in a new YouTube blog, Molly-Mae told of a 'disaster' nursery stint with Bambi. In the new video, she is joined by her sister Zoe, Mirror reports.

Molly-Mae told fans that before becoming a mum, she had little experience around tots and said she 'really had no idea'. She said: "Those first few weeks of Bambi's life... hell and back. We were having a breakdown."

She told how her daughter has started going to nursery and said: "Bambi started nursery. She had her first day, 9:30am until 3pm the other day.

"She had three taster sessions, two that were one hour long and one that was two hours long, and the two hour session was a bit of a disaster to be honest with you. When I picked her up she was severely upset, I'd never seen her cry like that before.

"Something wasn't sitting right with me. It didn't feel right. I don't have to put Bambi in nursery for childcare purposes, I can have her at home with me, that's not an issue.

"It was more for her benefit that I wanted to send her. That's what we did wrong. We did it all together." Molly-Mae said her little one has developed a challenging behaviour issue.

She confessed: "She did start to hit. My best friend Taylor, her child Story is a similar age to Bambi and Bambi did start to hit Story. That came out of nowhere and I thought "that's not good" and I think nursery will help with that."

Bambi's aunt Zoe chipped in with: "Amy Hart, when she had her baby, Stanley, they really split it, so he would do the night shift, she would do the day shift, and I do think sleep is the way forward. So if you've got help and got your partner there with you, rather than doing it all together."

Molly said: "Now I look back, it sends shivers down my spine, I had no idea what I was doing." She added: "That's what we did wrong. We did it all together. You have to get your sleep."
