Strictly's Chris McCausland makes emotional admission in sweet message to Dianne Buswell

Strictly Come Dancing's Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell impressed the judges once again at the weekend and the comedian was seen making an emotional admission

strictly Come Dancing's Chris McCausland was left overwhelmed with emotion as he progressed to the next round of the BBC hit competition alongside his dance partner Dianne Buswell and the comedian wowed the audience once more with their latest performance in the ballroom.

The comedian, who is Strictly's first blind contestant, and Diann, earned a standing ovation on Saturday evening (October 12) for their lively Salsa to the hit "Down Under" by Men At Work.

Dianne couldn't hide her emotions and nearly shed tears when she expressed how immensely proud she was of Chris before they received a remarkable score of 30 points.

Securing their place on Sunday night's show (October 13), the duo were ecstatic to find out they're heading into week five of the contest, with Chris expressing enthusiasm about performing a ballroom dance after consecutive weeks of fast-paced Latin numbers.

Celebrating their continued journey on Strictly, Dianne took to social media to share snapshots of their stunning performance, captioning: "Once again thank you @chrismccauslandcomedy for trusting me ! when I said we are going to do the kangaroo jump you didn't even hesitate [crying laughing emoji].", reports the Manchester Evening News.

She continued her heartfelt message: "You're a legend and I'm so happy to be able to dance another week with you! To everybody who has been supporting us we thank you soooooo much. Week 5 I can not believe it. You're all BONZA."

Chris expressed his sincere gratitude towards his dance partner with heartfelt words, acknowledging the emotions they shared: "I think we both felt quite emotional after that one didn't we. What a blast, and thank you for letting me hold onto you till I knew I wasn't going to cry. You are the absolute best! Slow one this week though eh."

The duo's supporters were eager to display their affection and admiration online. @robynhood praised them, saying: "You guys are amazing, honestly I hope you know how much joy you're bringing to us all watching. FAB-U-LOUS! ! " While @lenihenry offered encouragement with: "You are incredible matey. The relationship between yourself and Diane is what this show is all about and is what pushes you to get the best out of it each week. You truly are amazing, besides one liners too.
