Cadbury Roses and Heroes shoppers have been urged to ditch Tesco, Sainsbury's and Morrisons this Christmas. Asda customers can grab themselves a bargain in-store with the Rewards app ahead of Christmas with a discount on popular chocolate treats.

Asda is offering customers the chance to buy any two tubs of the chocolates for £5 which makes them £2.50 each, considerably cheaper than how much they usually cost. The chocolate boxes are advertised at two for £9.

But with Asda Rewards, the supermarket’s rewards app, offering customers a £4 off voucher when buying them, it makes them two for £5. The deals and discounts are available in-store in Asda from Friday, October 25 to Sunday, October 27.

Replying to the news, one shopper said: “Wow how good is that x”. And a second typed on Facebook: “this is good to put them away for Christmas x”. The offer is part of Asda’s Rewards Mega Event weekend, where shoppers can save more than 50% on festive favourites like Quality Street, Cadbury Heroes, Cadbury Roses, Celebrations, and Swizzels.

Shoppers will need to download the Asda Rewards app to take advantage of this offer. Coupons for the discount will appear in the app's 'wallet' section from Friday, October 25. To claim the deal, simply scan the coupon at the till, and your discount will be applied.
