Alison Hammond is happily loved up with boyfriend David Putnam - even saying the model and masseur 'worships me'. And his talents come in handy as the 49-year-old Great British Bake Off presenter revealed his touching daily act of love for her.

In April, she went public with her relationship with David, 27, who she met when she booked him for a massage therapy session. But she later revealed she had managed to keep their relationship secret for a year and a half - until her This Morning colleague Dermot O'Lear accidentally revealed she was 'no longer available' on the show.

The star managed to keep her romance with David out of the public eye for more than a year until her colleague on This Morning, Dermot O'Leary, accidentally revealed her secret live on air when he commented that Alison was "no longer available."

She later told The Sun about a loving act he performs for her daily. She said : "A year and a half I've been with him, and no one knew! He loves me to bits. He absolutely worships me and massages my feet every single day. What more do you want?!"

Speaking to MailOnline, Alison hinted at a possible engagement: "There is someone special, and if he wants to pop the question, he can pop away." She sparked engagement rumours after being spotted wearing a ring on her ring finger on This Morning, but later denied she was engaged.

She also revealed David had met her son Aiden on the Parenting Hell podcast, sharing: "The person I am seeing at the moment, [Aiden is] on his Instagram and he's like, 'Yeah, I like him. He's not too in your face.' Aiden's on it.

"When they met, he really liked him and thought he was lovely. And thank goodness for that! Normally, Aiden hates anyone I date."

Alison admitted last year that she was ready to settle down. Speaking to Gyles Brandreth in an episode of his podcast Rosebud, she said: "I think as soon as I hear the word marriage I get cold feet. I think I'm just one of those people.

'I always - not think there's something better - but I always get a bit nervous to know that is it. 'I just feel like I'm tied down and I don't like it, when really and truly, I'm getting to that age now where I think "Alison, let go - it's OK to settle down."'
