The Marks and Spencer dress with pockets that's 'soft, swishy' and less than £50

Marks and Spencer fans say they love a 'classy' dress that's 'soft, swishy and perfect for all seasons'. The 'versatile' V-Neck Midaxi Slip Dress can be 'dressed up or down', has pockets, and costs less than £50.

The moss green V-Neck Midaxi Slip Dress from Per Una was "crafted from smooth satin", according to M&S and features "delicate lace inserts for a feminine feel". The retailer said it had a "flattering" v-neckline and the midaxi-length design was "unlined for a lightweight feel".

Available in sizes six to 24, the V-Neck Midaxi Slip Dress costs £49.50. Shoppers also had the option of a petite or regular fit.

One five-star review said the "soft and swishy" V-Neck Midaxi Slip Dress was "lovely", adding: "Great colour and plenty of fabric so it’s not too clingy. Generous length." Another read: "Beautiful material, this dress is so versatile and I will be wearing it dressed up and down. Perfect fit."

Shell wrote: "I really like this dress. The material is slinky but substantial. The fit is perfect. It has decent straps too, which cover your bra straps, whereas a lot of dresses of this type have very thin spaghetti straps. I was honestly pleasantly surprised with the quality of the dress for the price." Lauli said: "Classy and beautiful, the colour and fabric are amazing. It has an unusual fit but it is meant to be relaxed on the back so I don't mind it. The back of the dress has beautiful lace details."

Yanina's review of the V-Neck Midaxi Slip Dress read: "The perfect dress to take you through the seasons, day or night. Wear on its own, or tee underneath or a big jumper or cardi now temperatures have dropped. I would buy it in other colours if they were available. And it has pockets!"

Elle gave the V-Neck Midaxi Slip Dress two stars and wrote: "Lovely material and the dress hangs nicely . Bust area does not sit right at all." Another said: "Gorgeous dress but a very strange fit across the back. Unfortunately I had to return it as it just didn’t fit properly."
