NatWest is giving away free £180 in time for Christmas

NaWwest is giving away £180 to customers if they follow simple steps to move their current account. The free cash will be handed to those who use the free Current Account Switch Service (CASS) to switch their current account to a NatWest Reward account.

You need to pay £1,250 into your new NatWest account and log into the mobile app within 60 days of switching accounts. The money must also be kept in the account for at least 24 hours.

The £180 will be paid within seven days, which means you can get the cash before Christmas. To be eligible, you must be aged 18 or over.

It's important to remember that the NatWest Reward account comes with a monthly fee of £2. But customers can potentially earn up to £5 in cashback each month.

You can get £4 cashback if you have two direct debits of £2 or more, plus £1 cashback by logging into the mobile app. NatWest said: "Apply online or via our mobile app to open a new Reward account and switch your current account held elsewhere using the Current Account Switch Service.

"This means your old bank account will close and any funds and Direct Debits will move over to us. If you're an existing customer, you can switch your account held elsewhere in to an existing eligible Reward account, or switch in and upgrade an existing account to one of our Reward accounts."

The cashback, known as "Rewards", can be exchanged for cash back to your account, eGift codes, or donations to charity. Those with Reward accounts can also earn from 1 per cent in Rewards when spending with a NatWest debit card at partner retailers.
