Kate Ferdinand says 'sleepless nights' as son rushed to hospital

Kate Ferdinand has revealed how her son was rushed to hospital while on holiday. The mum - who is married to Rio Ferdinand - told how she has had 'sleepless nights' following the ordeal in the Maldives.

The 33-year-old took to Instagram to tell fans about the horror incident. She posted a picture of her with son Cree in an ambulance as she shed light on the accident.

The mum-of-two could be seen laying a kiss on her young son's head as he lay down on a stretcher. She said the family were enjoying the last of their holiday abroad when they made an emergency trip to the hospital.

She said: "We ended a fabulous trip with a broken collar bone. My boy just always gets injured!! It's been sleepless nights, cuddles, tv & chocolate since."

Former TOWIE star Kate married Rio in 2019, with the couple tying the knot in Turkey. They share son Cree and daughter Shae.

Kate is also stepmum to Rio's three children Lorenz, Tate, and Tia from his previous marriage to the late Rebecca Ellison. Ex-footballer Rio, 45, and wife Kate were joined by his dad Julian on the trip.
