Kelsey Parker breaks silence over how Tom's parents reacted to her new boyfriend
by James Rodger, https://www.facebook.com/jamesrodgerjournalist · Birmingham LiveKelsey Parker has opened up about Tom's parents responses to her moving on in the wake of his death. Kelsey appeared on ITV Lorraine on Friday (November 1), where she bravely discussed the Wanted star's mum and dad's reaction to her new romance.
Two years since Tom's death, Kelsey has announced that she is in a new romance with 27-year-old tree surgeon Will Lindsay. Speaking to Lorraine Kelly stand-in Ranvir Singh on Friday, she said: “I’ve got such an amazing village and even with Tom’s parents Noreen and Nigel, they have supported me with whatever I’ve decided to do and they understand how hard it is.”
The mum-of-two continued: “For us at home, Tom is so alive in our house and we speak to him everyday. For my children, they are still babies and they are still processing it everyday so these conversations are never going to go away and we are still dealing with the conversation.”

She added: “it’s about finding happiness and with friends and family there is only so much they can do and it’s lovely to have someone to offload to. I was lonely and I’m 34 now, I was so lonely and just wanted someone and now I’ve met someone.”
She said: “I don’t think anyone can fully understand but I have built a community online and I’m doing this for them.” Kelsey added: “What I’ve learnt is there is no wrong or right way to grieve and we all talk about when is it the right time to move on and I just don’t think there is a right time."
She told Ranvir, the former BBC Strictly Come Dancing star: "I never thought at the age of 32 with two young children that I would have been widowed.”
Lorraine airs weekdays on ITV1 at 9am.
