Amazon has nearly halved the price of this 'long-lasting' Christmas Yankee Candle for a limited time. Shoppers say the Christmas Eve Yankee Candle is their 'favourite scent for this time of year'.

The large Christmas Eve Yankee Candle is normally £29.99 full price. However Amazon has slashed 43 per cent off the price - making it just £16.99.

A product description on Amazon reads: "Traditional holiday scents of a warm hearth, sugared plums, and candied fruits. Authentic ingredients and premium wax deliver long-lasting, consistent fragrance."

More than 2,000 of the Christmas Eve Yankee Candles have sold in the last month. The Christmas Eve Yankee Candle has a 4.7 star rating on Amazon.

Amy said: "I've already purchased the Christmas eve candle before, and it is my favourite scent for that time of year! When these were on offer, at a good price, I bought a few more ready for the impending festive season. Scent is lovely and not too sickly sweet either."

Lisa wrote: "I absolutely love the smell of this candle. I’ve bought this particular one a few times now. And they last such a long time and they burn down very evenly so barely any waste."

David commented: "Our usual go to for candles is Yankee. The size of this means it usual lasts about 2-3 weeks being burned 5-6 hours a day.... The scent is just lovely and makes the house feel warm and cosy."
