Man seriously injured in stabbing near fire station
by birminghammail.co.uk · Birmingham LiveA man was taken to hospital after he was stabbed on a busy main road. Police sealed off a section of Washwood Heath Road in Ward End after finding the seriously injured victim.
He received trauma care from paramedics on the scene before he was transferred to hospital. The cordon was later taken down.
It happened near Ward End fire station just before 10.45pm on Saturday, November 9. West Midlands Police has been contacted for a statement.

A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a stabbing on Washwood Heath Road, Ward End, Birmingham at 10.44pm on Saturday, November 9. An ambulance, two paramedic officers and a trauma team attended the scene.
"Crews arrived to find a man with serious injuries. He received trauma care on scene before being conveyed on blue lights to hospital for further trauma treatment."
