Nick Knowles has spoken about his concerns for his return to Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday night after it was confirmed he had been given the all- clear. The DIY SOS presenter was forced to pull out of the BBC competition last week after injuring his knee during rehearsals.

But he will be back performing on the Saturday night live show with partner Luba Mushtuk. The BBC confirmed that they would be allowed to performing the Charleston - the dance they missed during last week's Movie special to Rain On The Roof from Paddington 2.

On spin-off show It Takes Two on Friday night, viewers saw Nick speak out in behind the scenes footage from the training room. Luba explained they had changed the routine after Nick's accident, telling viewers: "Weve adapted a few little steps to make his knee more comfortable with the Charleston."

Nick admitted: "The main difficulty with the Charleston is going between the elegant bits and the fast quirky bits. The biggest difficulty is actally remembering I've got to be in this character as well on top of remembering all the steps."

Luba teased: "We're going to see a very different side of Nick because it's all about showbiz."

Nick first hurt himself at the beginning of this year's Strictly Come Dancing, which kicked off last month. He injured his shoulder while changing a car tyre.

He was seen showing up to training sessions wearing a sling. He then injured his knee while attempting a jump during training.
