Two rushed to hospital with serious injuries after A460 crash in Staffordshire
by Harry Leach, http://www.facebook.com/harrylleach/ · Birmingham LiveTwo men were rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a two-car crash in Staffordshire. The collision happened on the A460 Hednesford Road, between Hednesford and Rugeley, at around 6.28am today, Wednesday, November 13.
The two men, who were the drivers in each car, received specialist trauma care at the scene. One of the men was trapped in a car as a result of the collision.
Paramedics worked closely with firefighters to cut him free from the wreckage. Damage was seen at the front of both vehicles.

Two ambulances, two paramedic officers, a trauma doctor with a critical care paramedic, and the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car were sent to the scene. An off-duty student paramedic and off-duty police officer also stopped to offer assistance.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “On arrival, crews discovered two cars that had both suffered front end damage and two patients, both of whom were men and the drivers of each car. One of the men was trapped as a result of the collision and ambulance staff worked closely with colleagues from the fire service to help cut him free.
“Both men were found to have suffered serious injuries and received specialist trauma care which continued as they were transported to Royal Stoke University Hospital.”
