Kings Norton murder probe latest as man and woman arrested after victim 'stabbed to death'

The victim, a man in his 20s, was found seriously injured in a 'family area' of Kings Norton yesterday morning (Nov 5).
Despite the best efforts of medics and police, nothing could be done to save him and he died at the scene in Medway Grove. Now, police have arrested a man and woman on suspicion of his murder.
A man aged 21 and a 23-year-old woman remain in police custody this evening (Nov 6) for questioning. Tributes have since been laid in the street, with scores of heartfelt messages reading: 'RIP Mini'.

In the latest update issued this evening, West Midlands Police said: "We've arrested two people after a man died after being found seriously injured in Kings Norton yesterday (Tuesday).
"Investigators today (Wednesday) arrested a man, aged 21 and woman, 23, on suspicion of murder and they remain in custody this evening for questioning. The victim, a man in his 20s, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene after being found with serious injuries in Medway Grove yesterday morning."

The cordon, which was erected after the 10am tragedy, remained in place a day later. It is likely to stay in place for "a number of hours" as enquiries continue, police said.
"We thank the local community for their patience," a force spokesman continued. "We know that such incidents can be alarming and a police presence remains at the scene and in the area as enquiries continue.
"We're reviewing CCTV and carrying out house-to-house enquiries and anyone who hasn't yet spoken with us but believes they can help is asked to contact us."
