Public urged ‘call 999’ as girl with links to Birmingham missing for days

The public have been urged to call 999 if they spot a missing teenager who has links to Birmingham. Ritika is aged 15 and from Marlborough, a market town around 100 miles away in Wiltshire, but has not been seen since for days.

She was last seen at around 7.30pm on Friday, October 18. The schoolgirl’s parents were said to be concerned for her wellbeing. West Midlands Police confirmed she had links to Birmingham.

Wiltshire Police’s Marlborough team said an earlier update claiming the teenage girl had been found was wrong. Members of the public were urged to call 999 if they saw her.

A spokesperson for the Marlborough Police team said: “We continue to urgently appeal for information about 15-year-old Ritika who has been reported missing from the Marlborough area.

“Ritika was last seen at about 7.30pm on Friday, October 18, and her parents are increasingly concerned for her welfare. She is described as about 5ft tall and is thought to be wearing a black jacket and white trousers.

“Contrary to [an] earlier update Ritika is still missing. If you see her please call us on 999 quoting log 54240123459. “
