Rudy Giuliani disbarred in Washington over efforts to overturn 2020 election

Sept. 26 (UPI) -- Rudy Giuliani was disbarred from practicing law in Washington over his participation in efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election, a local appeals court ruled Thursday.

The three-judge panel of the District of Columbia Circuit Court of Appeals cited Giuliani's work representing former President Donald Trump in his efforts to undo his election loss to President Joe Biden in their decision.
