Two separate stabbings in Riversdale over the weekend under investigation

Two people were sent to hospital after stabbing incidents in the Riversdale area over the weekend.

City police are investigating two separate stabbing incidents in Riversdale on the weekend.

Around 8 p.m. on Friday, officers were called to the 300 block of Avenue B South for a report of an injured man who appeared to have been stabbed, police said in a Monday news release.

Officers arrived to find the injured man being treated by paramedics. He was taken to hospital with “what were believe to be non-life-threatening injuries,” the release said.
