Amazon shoppers 'wowed' by Tobermory scotch whisky cut by 31% in sale

Amazon shoppers are rushing to buy a reduced scotch whisky just in time for Christmas. The Tobermory 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky was originally priced at £48.42 and has been reduced to £33.25 in the sale for a limited time only.

It's been rated a generous 4.7 out of 5 on the Amazon website and is known for being an award-winning single malt. According to the Amazon website, customers find the whisky to be "nice, smooth, and crisp. They also say it's great value for money and has lovely floral and caramel notes. Customers describe the product as good, a winner for the seeker of quality, and easy to drink."

The Tobermory whisky distillery was established in 1798 and is one of the oldest commercial distilleries in Scotland. On the Amazon website, the product description reads: "We use the best non-peated barley, water from our private source and distil to tried and tested methods that allow the essence of our home on the Isle of Mull to show. Aged in ex-bourbon casks for 12 years, Tobermory 12 has colourful palette of vibrant fruit and spice with a subtle saltiness reflective of our harbour waters here at Tobermory."

Shoppers have been praising the whisky in the comment section. Currently, you can get 31% off - but you'll need to be quick. In the reviews, one shopper said: "I tried the Tobermory 12 year old, while staying on Mull. It's probably my favourite whisky. I've tried their others and I'm not a fan of peaty whisky, but this one is clean and crisp. Pleasant after glow and none of the harshness of some whisky."

A second shopper said: "Bought as a present for Xmas. Very well received by a confirmed whisky buff. He liked the smooth texture and finish, said it was a delight and surprise usual tipple is Aberlour and he said was comparable."

A third shopper said: "A brilliant whisky, very smooth indeed, not peaty, but has a subtle sweet spicy taste. A classic!! I might just have to visit the Isle of Mull! And definitely the Distillery!!"

A fourth review read: "Boyfriend is very happy with his birthday present. He says it’s a sipping drink and can really taste the caramel notes. He also says it’s on the hot side."
