Right now, there is a limited time deal on the Amazon Fire TV 43-inch omni QLED series 4K UHD smart TV, allowing shoppers to bag one for £299.99 instead of the usual price of £549.99. Limited stock is available, so you will have to be fast, with orders are limited to one per customer.

This model promises "stunning 4K clarity and vivid colour" on the "expansive screen" that features quantum dot technology for a "more lifelike viewing experience". You can also pair it wirelessly with Echo speakers or connect to a sound bar for surround sound, pair with Alexa for a hands-free experience.

The Fire TV allows you to stream "over a hundred thousand films and TV programmes" and subscriptions to Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and more can be accessed simply through the home screen. If you're a gamer, you can use Luna or download titles with the Amazon app store, while Prime members also get access to a rotating selection of games for free.

Also available is the Amazon Fire TV 50-inch now £379.99 reduced from £649.99; the Amazon Fire TV 55-inch now £429.99 reduced from £749.99; and the Amazon Fire TV 65-inch now £849.99 reduced from £999.99.

With a 4.1 out of five star rating overall, one reviewer Richard said: "It’s hard to leave a review on electronic items but this TV is really good for the price and easy to set up not had it for long so hopefully will last.

"The TV is what Amazon describes in fact they sent me two of these by mistake and let me keep the 2nd one free of charge because it was there mistake. Oh and the sound quality is also amazing I paid about £400 for a sound bar a few years ago and you can’t tell the difference between the the TV sound and the sound bar."

A second customer said: "This TV is great works great with Alexa makes it a lot easier would highly recommend colour and picture very sharp."

However, this customer mentioned the 43 inch being of lower quality than other models, they said: "Excellent for the price. Picture quality is good. Note that the 43" panel is lower quality than the larger models. If I was going to buy again I'd probably fork out for the 50 inch."

Alternatively, Currys is selling the TCL 55C655K 55" smart 4K ultra HD HDR QLED TV for £398, reduced from the original price of £469. One reviewer said: "Brilliant TV. Great picture and well worth the money."
