Roman's £45 'work Christmas party dress' that's 'very slimming'

Christmas party season is fast approaching, and Roman shoppers have been snapping up one dress in particular. Whether you're on the look out for a dress with a vibrant print or a little black dress to dazzle your friends and family during the party season, Roman has plenty to choose from.

This Black Side Twist Sleeveless Glitter Dress priced at £45 has been rated five stars by happy shoppers on Roman, and is currently available in sizes 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20. It features a flattering round neckline and is fully lined, made from a stretch jersey fabric.

In the model photo, the glitzy dress has been paired with some chic black heels. These 'Wyoming' Pointed Toe High Heels have been reduced on the Debenhams website by 76% down to £21 and would look perfect with the outfit.

On the Roman website, the full product description reads: "This occasion dress combines classic cuts and colours with sparkling glitter fabrics for a shimmering and sophisticated finish. Shoppers have been praising the 'slimming' design on the Roman website. Many shoppers have branded it the 'work Christmas party dress'.

In the reviews, one shopper said: "This is a very flattering dress. It shows off my waist but not my tummy. Just enough sparkle for a Christmas party without going over the top. Looks really stylish and far more expensive than it is."

A second review read: "Ordered for Christmas Party. It's a nice, dress that won't date. The quality is very high and it is fully lined. I'm inbetween a 12 and 14 at the moment. I've gained weight around the middle and some of my more fitted 12 dresses are too tight. I could just about get away with this due to the style; the 14 was a bit loose at the top. Personally I'd like the dress to be just a tiny bit shorter as I feel a bit frumpy in knee length. I'd say it sits at top of my knee and I'm 5ft6."

A third shopper said: "I wore it at a work Christmas party and it was comfy and elegant."
