Laura Tobin found herself in an embarrassing situation during the recent episode of Good Morning Britain when her "walk of shame" was revealed.

The ITV show's stars had a late night on Monday as they attended the Pride of Britain Awards this year. Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid, the hosts, were present, along with entertainment correspondent Richard Arnold who was interviewing celebrities on the red carpet, providing viewers with a glimpse into the event.

However, while discussing the celebratory evening honouring the UK's unsung heroes, Susanna quickly noted that Laura arrived at the GMB studio in the same outfit she wore the previous night, leading Richard Madeley to dub her a "stop out".

Susanna commented: "I just want to say, some of us had an early late night. Some of us had a very late night, some of us had such a late night that it rolled in this morning."

As the camera focused on Laura, GMB also displayed a picture of her arriving at work in her glamorous red carpet attire. Dressed in a stunning strapless red and black gown, weather presenter Laura looked fabulous but evidently overdressed for the GMB job, reports the Mirror.

As laughter filled the studio, Susanna added: "So this was Laura coming into work. She takes on the walk of shame. That is definitely the morning after the night before look!"

The meteorologist, now back in her usual GMB attire, clarified: "It looks like I went straight from Pride of Britain straight to GMB. I would like to assure you, I went back to my hotel, slept but I didn't have a change of clothes and I couldn't take my hair out."

She firmly added, "That's my argument and I'm sticking to it," while Richard commented, "You stop out and I won't say the other one."

Concluding the exchange, Laura expressed her pleasure at having been part of the event, noting that although the official awards were held on Monday night, the broadcast will be on ITV1 at 8pm on Thursday, October 24.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV1.
