Strictly's Chris McCausland shares heartfelt message to Dianne Buswell after success

Chris McCausland was visibly moved as he secured a spot in the next live episode of Strictly Come Dancing. He and his dance partner, Dianne Buswell, delivered another outstanding performance in the ballroom over the weekend.

As the show's first blind contestant, Chris, and Dianne, received a standing ovation on Saturday night (October 12) for their energetic Salsa routine to Men At Work's Down Under.

Dianne, who incorporated elements of her Australian heritage into the choreography, was beaming with pride, fighting back tears as they scored 30 points.

During Sunday night's (October 13) results show, they learned they would be advancing to week five of the competition. Chris was thrilled to discover he would be tackling a ballroom dance next weekend, following two consecutive high-energy Latin routines.

After the announcement, Dianne shared photos of the duo in action on social media, expressing her gratitude: "Once again thank you @chrismccauslandcomedy for trusting me ! when I said we are going to do the kangaroo jump you didn't even hesitate [crying laughing emoji].", reports the Manchester Evening News.

"You're a legend and I'm so happy to be able to dance another week with you! To everybody who has been supporting us we thank you soooooo much. Week 5 I can not believe it. You're all BONZA."

Chris swiftly offered an acknowledgement and heartfelt thanks to his dance partner, remarking, "I think we both felt quite emotional after that one didn't we. What a blast, and thank you for letting me hold onto you till I knew I wasn't going to cry. You are the absolute best! Slow one this week though eh."

Supporters of the dynamic duo immediately expressed their encouragement. @robynhood posted, "You guys are amazing, honestly I hope you know how much joy you're bringing to us all watching. FAB-U-LOUS! ! " while @lenihenry shared: "You are incredible matey. The relationship between yourself and Diane is what this show is all about and is what pushes you to get the best out of it each week. You truly are amazing, besides one liners too. You two get my vote! ".

Additionally, @wasaaaat wrote: "You're a man this world needs more of ! ! ! Absolute diamond and your qualities are outstanding,,your the WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER! " and @colettebent commented: "Love you amd Di, you are what this competition all about."
