Strictly Come Dancing favourite Johannes Radebe recently offered a reassuring message to fans after they expressed concerns over his recent demeanour on the show.

The professional dancer, 37, has been paired with Olympic athlete Montell Douglas for this season and they have dazzled audiences with remarkable performances throughout the competition.

Despite their success, some viewers expressed unease about Radebe's perceived lack of joy. A fan conveyed this sentiment through a screenshot shared on a Strictly fan page, which read: "For those who have been worried about JoJo, he has responded to someone who asked that question on last night's Instagram post."

The concerned viewer had commented: "Hope you had fun Johannes! You haven't been your usual joyous gorgeous self lately (on Strictly). Many fans have been concerned about you lovely," reports Birmingham Live.

In a brief yet comforting reply, Johannes said: "I'm okay darling." He went on to add: "Montel (sic) has been good to me and we're enjoying the dancing. Hope you're good."

Johannes and Montell delivered a powerful Tango during Movie Week, performing to One Night Only from the beloved film Dreamgirls, earning them 28 out of 40 points and securing their progression to week four to dance the Viennese Waltz.

Strictly It Takes Two guest Montell shared a candid insight into her struggles on the dance floor, revealing that adapting to heels has been far from easy.

She expressed: "It's really tricky because I'm just not used to it. You have to think about choreography, dance and perform, where literally I'm holding on with my toes! I'm used to trainers, I live in them for the whole of my life. It's just finding the balance on these size 10 boots."

Previously speaking about her high heel challenges, Montell didn't shy away from the discomfort they induced, stating in an interview with The Mirror: "The hardest thing is not the routine - it's the shoes! It's doing it in a shoe that wants to break your foot. The shoe is designed to give you pain, which she does very well actually."

Despite her ongoing battle with her dance footwear, she detailed her daily reality: "Especially because I'm just not used to it. I'm living in high heels. It's like a night out where you have to keep your heels on all night. That's what it feels like."
