With Christmas fast approaching, we're all looking for that perfect gift for our loved ones - without breaking the bank too much. And for perfume fans, especially those of Marc Jacobs, Sephora has slashed the cost of its 100ml bottle of the popular eau de toilette, Daisy.

Usually costing £99 (the price at The Perfume Shop) , this gorgeously feminine and floral spritz has been reduced to £68.85 (which, at the time of writing, was its cheapest price on the market currently, beating that of Lookfantastic and Boots), making it the ideal present for your significant other without making quite such a dent in your pay cheque.

Saving £30.15, this popular spritz has notes of wild berries, white violet, jasmine and sandalwood and 'is a true icon in the world of fragrance'. Ideal for daytime wear, the perfume has been described as 'Charming, youthful and feminine."

With its instantly recognizable design - a cap that is decorated in simple white daisies and gold bottle - its received an impressive 4.5 star rating on Sephora, with people returning to it time and again.

One five star fan of the perfume raved about it with a glowing review that read: "Love this product. Not overpowering and last really long. I got many compliments. The product is also great for layering", while another said: "There’s a reason this perfume is a classic must have amongst women! The scent is the perfect mix between fresh and floral and last long on the skin! I’ve been using this scent for years and I will continue doing so! Not to mention every Marc Jacobs perfume has the cutest packaging!"

Another hailed: "This is my absolute favorite perfume, it fits perfectly with my chemistry and the smell lasts!! Marc Jacob’s 100% got this one right, my bottle is empty or I would have posted pictures, practically perfect in every way!! Never lets me down!"

While its description claims it as best for daytime wear, those who love it wear it for any occasion, with one fan of the stuff sharing: "Smells heavenly and very feminine. Not at all overpowering. I think this would be perfect for a date night!"

Now, perfume scents are relatively subjective and work well depending on its reaction to your body chemistry. As a result, there have been some shoppers who weren't quite so enamoured with the floral smell. Others stated the "smell fades away a little quick."
