Ruth Langsford made a dazzling return to the This Morning set on Monday, September 30. The Loose Women presenter was glowing in a shimmering silver dress as she rejoined three of her fellow panel members.

The ladies - including Coleen Nolan, Olivia Attwood and Jane Moore - were marking 25 years of the ITV midday programme with current This Morning hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley.

Ruth is well-known for co-hosting This Morning with her ex-husband Eamonn Holmes. The duo were Friday presenters and also filled in for former hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby during their holidays. Ruth also frequently shared the screen with her friend Rylan Clark.

Ruth and Eamonn revealed their surprising separation back in May and since then GB News presenter Eamonn has been spotted holidaying with his new partner, reports the Mirror.

Despite her past on the This Morning stage, Ruth displayed no discomfort and appeared entirely relaxed to be back with her Loose Women peers, sharing laughs and banter with them. Her stint as This Morning host went unmentioned.

Ben, pointing at Ruth and Coleen, asked "The two of you have been on it (Loose Women) from the start? " To which Ruth confirmed: "And Jane."

Ben queried, "Did you think when you did that first ever show it would still be going 25 years on? " to which Jane responded, "No it was only commissioned for four weeks - at the end of the four weeks we all went 'bye'. It was really lovely, what fun and then it got recommissioned and it just kept coming back."

The ladies also shared a laugh over their chic, matching silver outfits for the show's silver jubilee, with Coleen quipping: "I got on the train like this!"

In other news, Phillip Schofield, the erstwhile presenter of This Morning, is poised for his television return in the Channel 5 documentary, Phillip Schofield Cast Away, premiering on Monday, September 30.

This Morning is on ITV1 weekdays at 10am and on ITVX
