Man, 67, dies after police attend Clydach incident

Police have confirmed that a man has died after officers were called to an incident in Clydach, Swansea, on Thursday night. They were called to High Street at around 5.15pm on Thursday October 24 following a report of a man in cardiac arrest.

A lane was blocked off and there was a police presence in the area for several hours.For the latest Welsh news delivered to your inbox sign up to our newsletter.

On Friday, as statement said that paramedics conducted CPR but the casualty – a 67-year-old man from Clydach – died at the scene.

It is understood that man had been carrying out work alone on a vehicle when he became unwell. A spokesman for South Wales Police said: "There are no suspicious circumstances."
