Commanders land star cornerback Marshon Lattimore in NFL trade deadline bombshell

The Commanders are gunning for it.

Off to a surprising 7-2 start in the first season of quarterback Jayden Daniels and head coach Dan Quinn, Washington has made a big trade.

The Commanders are acquiring star defensive back Marshon Lattimore from the Saints, NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero first reported.

The Commanders are trading a third-round, fourth-round and sixth-round pick in the deal, while also getting back a fifth-rounder from the Saints, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Lattimore has made four Pro Bowls and was the 2017 Defensive Rookie of the Year.
