Watch: Starmer gaffe while calling for return of hostages

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer accidentally called for "return of the sausages" instead of Gaza "hostages" during a speech at the Labour conference this afternoon.

The apparent gaffe happened after Mr Starmer called for restraint and de-escalation on the border between Lebanon and Israel, as Israel struck the Hezbollah-controlled area of the Lebanese capital for a second consecutive day.

The Labour leader also said that it was his "duty to the British people to face up to necessary decisions" as he addressed his Labour Party's first conference since winning power in July.
