Enzo Maresca is looking to make it two wins inside four days over Newcastle, as Chelsea prepare to take on Eddie Howe's side in the Carabao Cup. On Sunday the two sides met in the Premier League, with Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson goals securing three points.

Alexander Isak's first-half equaliser threatened to delay the wait for a home league win for Chelsea, but Palmer's brilliance and some last-ditch defending got the Blues over the line. They are now aiming to go back-to-back and down the Magpies, yet again, this time on the road.

Chelsea were League Cup finalists last season and they've been on an incredible run of just two defeats in normal time in the competition since 2019, a run of 17 games which has seen them fall short at Wembley on two occasions. Maresca will be looking to get over that particular hurdle to deliver a first bit of silverware for the Clearlake Capital-Todd Boehly ownership.

Here, football.london has all the details on how to follow the game;
