Arsenal continue their 2024/25 Champions League campaign on Tuesday, as they take on French giants Paris Saint Germain at The Emirates.

After their 0-0 draw with Italian side Atalanta last time out, Arsenal will be hoping to get their first Champions League win of the season this evening, as they face a PSG side who aren't the European force they once were, following Kylian Mbappe's transfer to Real Madrid. On top of that, they have several injury issues, with Gianluigi Donnarumma, Nuno Mendes, Marco Asensio, Lucas Hernandez and Goncalo Ramos all likely to be missing on Tuesday.

The Gunners will likely field a similar team to the one who beat Leicester City 4-2 at the weekend, with Ben White still a doubt and Mikel Merino and Martin Odegaard still out through injury. So, can Arsenal grab a statement win against PSG this evening?

Arsenal vs PSG score predicted

To complete this simulation, we used EA FC 25 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions.

We predict that Arsenal could set up in a 4-3-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori; Partey, Rice, Trossard; Saka, Havertz, Martinelli.

We predict that PSG could line up in a 4-3-3 formation, with their starting XI as follows: Safonov; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Beraldo; Ruiz, Neves, Zaire-Emery; Kolo Muani, Kang-In, Barcola.

The home side got off to the best possible start in this simulated game, with Gabriel Martinelli picking up where he left off against Leicester City at the weekend by scoring two in quick succession. Kai Havertz was heavily involved in the first goal, receiving the ball just outside the area before playing a pass into the path of the Brazilian, who fired into the near post to make it 1-0.

Gabriel Martinelli made it 1-0

And the forward got his second just eight minutes later, in what was an almost carbon copy of the first goal, with Havertz again finding him with a lovely pass, and this time the youngster finished with his left foot into the far corner. And, the game was effectively over before half-time, with Declan Rice getting on the scoresheet with a powerful finish inside the area, with Havertz once again providing the pass that preceded the goal.

Although substitute Ousmane Dembele did get a goal back with a stunning goal against the run of play on the hour mark, the result was never in doubt in the second half, with Mikel Arteta's side controlling the game and asserting their dominance after a strong first half display.

EA FC 25 predicted final score: Arsenal 3-1 PSG

EA FC 25 predicted final score: Arsenal 3-1 PSG

EA FC 25 predicts that Arsenal have the quality to dispatch PSG in the opening 45 minutes, with the game predicting that Martinelli and Havertz could be the key men for Arteta this evening, as they grab their first Champions League win of the season.
