Arsenal are back in action after the international break when they travel to Bournemouth. Mikel Arteta's side are still unbeaten in the Premier League this season and sit third after picking up 17 points from a possible 21.

They began the campaign with consecutive wins over Wolves and Aston Villa, but Brighton held them to a 1-1 draw. The Gunners - without Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice, returned to winning ways at north London rivals Tottenham but were then denied a fine success at Manchester City in an enthralling 2-2 draw.

Since then, Arsenal have won their last two games against Leicester and Southampton and are in fine fettle going into the trip to Bournemouth. Elsewhere, the Gunners are into the fourth round of the Carabao Cup and have collected four points from their first two Champions League matches.

As for Bournemouth, Andoni Iraola's side have endured a mixed start. They sit 13th on eight points from their opening seven fixtures and had the opportunity to move into the top half before the international break, but blew it with a 1-0 defeat at struggling Leicester. Before that, the Cherries beat Southampton 3-1.

The last time Arsenal and Bournemouth played each other was back in May, when the Gunners were 3-0 winners at the Emirates Stadium. The other meeting last season was at the start of the campaign, as Arsenal ran out 4-0 winners thanks to goals from Bukayo Saka, Odegaard, Kai Havertz and Ben White.

Bournemouth vs Arsenal team news

Arsenal remain without Martin Odegaard for the trip to the south coast after he suffered an ankle injury last month. Ben White, Jurrien Timber and Oleksandr Zinchenko look set to be absent, while Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz are facing a race against time to be fit for the game.

On Saka, Arteta said: "It's not a serious injury. He's evolving really well. He was maybe well enough to play in the second [England] game. He's done some stuff over the last few days. We are hopeful. We have training this afternoon, so let's see if he can make it on time."

Speaking on Havertz, Arteta said: "He had a few issues, but we're dealing with it. He's been absolutely brilliant. He has good communication with the national team manager. Again, if he trains well today, he has a good chance to play tomorrow."

The only real concern for the Cherries is Tyler Adams, who may be eased back into action after injury.
