Marks and Spencer's 'soft and stylish' crew neck button front cardigan has become a hit with shoppers, flying off the shelves at less than £20. It's currently one of the retailer's top sellers in their online knitwear range. Retailing for £19.50, the cardigan is available from sizes 6 to 24 and offers a selection of eight colours, including light rose, grey, nutmeg, cappuccino, light natural, fuchsia, dark olive, and pistachio, reports Birmingham Live.

The product description on the M&S website describes it as: "This classic button-through cardigan will prove a versatile addition to your year-round wardrobe. It's made in a figure-flattering slim fit, with neat ribbed trims at the crew neck, long sleeves and hem."

With a robust rating of 4.3 stars on Marks and Spencer's site, customers have been praising the garment. Sar shared her views, saying: "Soft and stylish cardigan that can be dressed up or down, also works really well worn back to front like a jumper. Washes well and retains shape."

Meanwhile, a satisfied buyer remarked, "Bought for work and casual wear. Easy throw on an extra layer." Customer Vicky also added her perspective: "Very stylish and fits true to size. Excellent value for money."

And Georgie added: "I have 5 of these cardigans. They are so handy for work all year round. In the summer with dresses and winter for layering. I bought a new colour this time though, the nutmeg colour. I'm wearing it as a jumper with black trousers for work. Looks very stylish. Great colour."

However, one shopper said: "It is a very strange fit, too short in the body but large everywhere else, wish I had returned it."
