Charlotte Crosby's heartbreaking admission about second pregnancy

It's been two years since Charlotte Crosby became a mum after giving birth to daughter Alba, and now the reality star is pregnant again with her second child, announcing her pregnancy just before her child's second birthday in October. With her due date in January 2024, Charlotte has opened up on "mum guilt" as she admits being pregnant is "so hard".

With just two months to go, Charlotte hasn't slowed down as she keeps up her work obligations and is even set to appear on Geordie Shore spin-off series Aussie Shore as the house boss. Speaking exclusively to the Mirror at her launch party to celebrate her collaboration with Vistaprint, she said: "I hate being pregnant."

Charlotte, 34, shares daughter Alba with her fiance Jake Ankers, with the couple living in a luxury Manchester apartment having put her family's Sunderland mansion on the market in February. Earlier this week, Charlotte took to Snapchat in floods of tears as she spoke about "mum guilt" while balancing work life with being a parent.

"I'm getting very tired now," Charlotte says while heavily pregnant at her launch party. "The second pregnancy is just so different when you've got a tiny toddler at home."

And the reality star says she finds pregnancy more difficult than having a baby, admitting it's "the easiest part of this whole thing". She adds: "People say that babies are hard, but I actually find that the easiest part.

"The hardest part is being pregnant. I'm used to being able to give 100 percent, and now I'm operating at a maximum 30 percent.

"Some people love the chilled side of pregnancy, like 'let's relax and not do anything', but I love being busy. I could not have that kind of pregnancy.

"I hate being pregnant, but I love being a mum." And while she says her two-year-old daughter Alba doesn't "fully understand" the concept of being a big sister, she says she's still "very excited".

"It's going to be really emotional when they meet for the first time. Alba is so good with babies, so I know that when we bring her sister home, she's not going to stop touching them."

Charlotte is working in partnership with VistaPrint, the print and design partner to millions of small businesses and customers around the world, on a campaign to celebrate celebrations. Having used the brand for her baby shower celebrations, Charlotte celebrated her partnership at Gold restaurant in Notting Hill on Tuesday, November 5.

Asked how she manages "mum guilt" while working on numerous work projects, Charlotte admits she hasn't found the perfect coping method just yet. "It's something I feel and go through," but "it's just awful".

New research from VistaPrint found that Brits are spending an average of £400 a year to organise celebrations (excluding Christmas). Gen Z are spending the most, splashing an average of £482 a year and those aged between 60 and 78 are spending the least (£259).
