The desperate search for a missing mum has entered its fourth day as police divers continue to scour a north Yorkshire river and a touching photo with her fiancé, thought to be the last of her, was shared online.

Victoria Taylor, 34, was last seen at her home in Malton, North Yorkshire, on Monday morning around 9am, before being captured on CCTV two hours later buying a soft drink at a local BP garage. She has not contacted her family or friends since then, sparking a huge search in the local area.

The mum, who is believed to work as a carer, is described as being white and approximately 5ft six inches tall. She was last spotted wearing blue jeans, a black Adidas original puffer jacket with white stripes down the sleeves and a grey Jack Wills hooded jumper.

North Yorkshire Police say a range of enquiries are ongoing to try and locate Victoria, with the focus of activity being in the Malton/Norton area. Officers were earlier seen scouring the River Derwent in kayaks after it emerged that some of Victoria's belongings were found close to the river bank.

“We are very concerned about Victoria’s whereabouts and, like her family and friends, just want to see her safe and well," Inspector Martin Dennison from North Yorkshire Police said. Here is everything we know so far about the missing mum.

Last known photo of Victoria before she disappeared

Victoria's fiancé Matthew Williams posted a final photo of the pair together on Facebook

Victoria's fiancé, Matthew Williams, posted a photo of the pair together in a lift. It is thought to be the last image taken by the mum before she went missing.

Mr Williams updated his profile picture on Facebook to display the selfie, which shows him standing behind the 34-year-old bride-to-be. Victoria is captured holding the phone up and smiling as Mr Williams holds her by the waist.

Police officers were pictured scouring a section of River Derwent in Malton, North Yorkshire, as they continued to search for Victoria this afternoon. Marine and Underwater Search Units took to the river's banks in kayaks whilst missing posters were put up around the market town. Police yesterday told the public they should expect to see an increased presence of officers in the town of Malton as they carry out searches of the River Derwent.

Inspector Leanne Anderson from North Yorkshire Police said: “There are a range of enquiries taking place to try and locate Victoria. This is still a missing person enquiry, and the focus of our activity is within the Malton / Norton area. Extensive searches will take place today and I would urge members of the public in the Malton / Norton areas to remain vigilant and report sightings or pass information to police immediately.”

Victoria's belongings are believed to have been found near the banks of the River Derwent, which is currently being searched. While officers are yet to have found any trace of the missing mum, the intriguing clue emerged last night, suggesting Victoria was in the area.

The large body of water is around 23 miles southwest of Scarborough, and continues to be scoured by specialist underwater search teams.

Victoria's heartbroken sisters urged her to contact them as police divers continued searching the river yesterday. Devastated sisters Emma Worden and Heidi Baker fought back tears as they made a desperate plea for her to come home.

"Vicky, just come home. We just want her home. She's got a little baby and her partner. We're just so worried," Emma said. Heidi added: "She's a very popular person. Obviously, she's a nurse and looked after so many people's parents round here."

Locals shared their sadness on social media after finding out that Victoria, who is originally from Huddersfield, was missing. One wrote: "Victoria worked at the care home where my Mum spent her final years. She was a real professional and I always felt my Mum (who was suffering from dementia) was 100% safe when Victoria was on shift. She is a truly lovely person and I pray she is found safe and well soon. My thoughts are with her family."

Another added: "Prayers for Victoria, hope she is safe first of all and soon home to her daughter and those who love her."
