Strictly's Tasha Ghouri almost quit Love Island - but not because of Andrew's cheating

Former Love Island star Tasha Ghouri is currently taking part in the 2024 version of Strictly Come Dancing with pro partner Aljaž Škorjanec

Strictly's Tasha has revealed that she almost quit Love Island - but it wasn't because of boyfriend Andrew Le Page's cheating.

The star said that she almost "walked out" of the villa after she was part of one of the show's most brutal tasks. The 26-year-old said she was ready to leave with her partner Andrew after the Snog, Marry, Pie challenge.

The model held back her emotions as she had pies thrown in her face by fellow islanders. Luca Bish and Dami Hope chose to pie Tasha but many thought they took it too far.

As Luca pied Tasha, he said: "I could give you a list as long as Adam but we let it go for today and it is just a game." While Dami said: "The reason I pied you, I feel like you usually get away with a lot of stuff but this pie, you weren't going to get away with..."

Tasha was upset afterwards and said that she felt like the challenge was a "personal attack". Speaking about the ordeal, she told The Sun: "I knew I was gonna get pies. I was ready for it, but it was more about the comments after that…There’s a level of banter and there’s [that].

"I was standing there thinking: 'Keep your head held high and don’t show a reaction.' There’s a clip and you can still see it in my face [how upset I was]. It was a lot - I felt backed into a corner. It’s such an intense environment and hard to escape. You’re stuck in there together. I was ready to walk out."

Partner Andrew backed Tasha as he said he had "no time" for the boys involved anymore. However, later in the show Luca apologised to Tasha saying he had gone "too far".

Tasha went on to say: "A lot had happened in the space of three days and a lot of it was targeted at me. I was upset. I did kind of walk out. I said [to producers]: 'I’ve had enough.' Andrew said: 'I’m gonna go with you.' Then all of a sudden the boys apologised…It was a bittersweet moment. I’m a very forgiving person. I didn’t want to live the rest of the weeks in a negative way. I forgive, but I don’t forget."

Andrew and Tasha had their fair share of bumps in the road when they were on Love Island. They immediately got together but had a hard time when Casa Amor rolled around.

The two of them both returned with new partners and Andrew's iconic moment with Coco Lodge emerged. Andrew admitted to Tasha that he and Coco had an intimate moment and he "licked her t** or whatever" but the pair managed to get through the other side.
