A Strictly Come Dancing star has admitted cheating on her boyfriend with a woman at a birthday party.

Shirley Ballas has opened up about kissing "somebody else's girlfriend" at an event many years ago. The 64-year-old said that she drunkenly shared a kiss with a woman when she was already in a relationship.

She told the story when she appeared on Mel Giedroyc's Unforgivable show and explained that the other woman had a fiancé. However, she said it was more of a "loveable embrace" than a moment of passion. Speaking on the show, Shirley said she was at a 40th party when it all happened.

Shirley explained: "I was part of something, and that was a 40th birthday party where this wonderful young lady had too much to drink and so had I. We had this great big snog – she was engaged, and I had a boyfriend, so you could say it was a really strong and loveable embrace with somebody else’s girlfriend."

Shirley's admission comes after she opened up about having a non-surgical facelift. The head judge said she felt she had a "new lease of life" after the anti-ageing treatment from a new high-tech non-surgical facelift procedure, performed by a top aesthetic doctor.

Before and after pictures show that her skin is lifted, her jawline and cheekbones raised, loose skin around the neck is tightened, redness and spider veins have been significantly reduced and sunspots gone. For the past year, Shirley, who turned 64 earlier this month, has been seeing one of the UK's top cosmetic doctors for a series of the latest non-invasive procedures to rejuvenate her face and neck.

Shirley said: "I have to say that I think these treatments have shaved 30 years off me. It has made me feel so confident and comfortable in my own skin. There's a famous Beatles song that goes, 'will you still need me, will you still feed me when I'm 64', well I turned 64 last week, and I feel like I've got a new lease of life."

The results are achieved with a series of monthly NeoGen nitrogen plasma treatments which are relatively pain-free. The treatment is 100% natural and a completely non-ablative procedure which creates thermal trauma within the dermis which tricks the body to generating collagen and elastin. Shirley says that before the work by Dr Johanna Ward she felt insecure about her appearance and had even considered having cosmetic surgery.

She added: "When I went into my 60s I was very much considering having a face lift. Back then when I looked in the mirror, I saw dull lifeless sagging skin, I had a lot of pigmentation with sun-spots and I had little spider veins on my nose.

"The whole thing about my face made me feel anxious especially because I'm in the public eye more and more these days. Just like anybody, I just want to look the best that I can at my age, but the problem is that when you reach mid 60s and older, it gets so much harder to keep your skin looking in great shape, and I was keen to find a non-surgical way to revitalise my skin."
