Strictly's Nick Knowles and Luba Mushtuk slam 'feud' speculation with his fiancée

On the back of tension rumours between Nick Knowles' fiance Katie Dadzie and Luba Mushtuk on Strictly the two women have put the rumours to bed in new photo posted on social media

Smiling for the camera, Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Luba Mushtuk appeared keen to dispel rumours of a rift between her and Nick Knowles' fiancé, Katie Dadzie.

This comes after reports surfaced that claimed Luba has clashed with her dance partner's fiancé as she felt she was spending far too much time at the rehearsal studio. But now, leaning in to each other ,Luba and Katie appeared to be firm friends as they took a selfie, which was then posted to Luba's social media. The professional dancer captioned the post: "Always here to support us @katie.dadzie."

Nick, 62, popped the question to Katie two years ago after two years together and sources have claimed that Luba reportedly became uncomfortable around Katie, who allegedly kept showing up to rehearsals. Luba reportedly told those backstage that Katie's regular "interruptions" have made it difficult to teach Nick. And this is also down to the fact that in some dance routines, they have to get up close and personal, which would be tricky to execute properly in front of Katie.

A source told The Sun: "Luba found the constant interruptions exasperating because she felt it was disturbing their training and routine. It was starting to affect how Luba could teach, given that she felt Katie’s eyes on her when they were in close holds."

They added: "Luba is a complete professional but no one can deny that it is awkward having your partner’s girlfriend in the room. Katie seems to be very clingy to Nick." Although Nick's relationship appears strong than ever, it wasn't that long ago they had hit a rocky patch, which they had to work through. Things had got so bad, Katie reportedly contemplated ending their romance.

Ahead of his stint on the BBC show, the couple opened up about their 27 year age gap in an interview with Closer. In the chat it's made clear that they both are on the same page when it comes to spending quality time with each other. Nick, who is set to say "I do" for the third time, said: "We try to do some amazing trips – we've just come back from Dubai which was fantastic. "

He added: "And we like to treat ourselves with overnight stays at Home House. It's a members' club in London and you don't need to be a member to stay there. The rooms are beautiful. It's almost like a museum because it's so stunning."

And Katie, who owns her own lingerie line called Boa Boa, added: "Nick is definitely a romantic. He cooks lovely dinners for me, something that he'll know I really like, especially when I'm not feeling great. We always have a date night where we’ll pick a really great restaurant. We also love hotel stays and nice holidays!"
