Dave Grohl may have nuked his own marriage by indulging in an affair that resulted in the arrival of a baby girl - and his wife, Jordyn Blum, has removed her wedding ring in the aftermath

Dave Grohl's wife Jordyn Blum has been spotted without her wedding ring on following her husband's bombshell affair announcement.

The 48-year-old model turned producer was seen out shopping in Los Angeles on Monday at Gelson's Market - with her wedding band noticeably absent. The mum-of-three wore a long patterned skirt and a simple black t-shirt while also wearing a black denim jacket.

With her hair tied in a ponytail, Jordyn braced for another day in the sunshine as she sported a pair of dark sunglasses. Accessorising with gold jewellery - including earrings and a delicate bracelet - the Californian looked focused as she went about her grocery shopping.

The fact Jordyn was without her wedding ring could signify she is giving up on her marriage after 21 years following 55-year-old husband Dave's affair bombshell. He stunned fans last month when he declared he had fathered a daughter out of wedlock - although reports have suggested he hopes to salvage his marriage.

Meanwhile, a source told the MailOnline: "She gave him an ultimatum to figure it out and he wants to regain her trust. He has to focus on her, that will be his best chance at getting back to what they had. Dave is focusing on her needs. Revealing [his affair and baby] in the first place was his last-ditch effort to save the marriage, because Jordyn knew about it well before the world found out. He would rather remain married."

Dave stunned the world with his affair announcement - which he casually shared via an Instagram post. He wrote at the time: "I've recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness."

The Times Like These singer added: "We’re grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together." He is already the father to daughters Violet Maye, 18, Harper Willow, 15, and Ophelia Saint, 10 - who he shares with Jordyn.

Dave previously prophesied his marriage would end in disaster when reflecting on a night of drinking with late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins. He told Q magazine: "Taylor and I were hanging out at the Sunset Marquis whiskey bar. Taylor was the looker. I mean, girls would send him drinks. Some bombshell comes up and starts talking to Taylor. I was just out of a Tenacious D session. I’ve got Vans trainers on, no socks, dirty shorts and a dirty T-shirt, surrounded by beautiful Hollywood.

“She waved her friend Jordyn over. I was like, ‘Oh my God. Not a chance!’ So I’m just having some drinks and acting like a jackass. And by the end of the night I was pissed and I’m staring at her going, ‘You’re my future ex-wife.’ ... So she gave me her number: ‘Jordyn, your future ex-wife.'”
