'I froze when I was picked to meet Taylor Swift — but she had perfect response'

A superfan who struggled to express their excitement when they met Taylor Swift has shared how the singer put them at ease during an unforgettable experience

Meeting celebrities can be a nerve-wracking experience — thankfully, Taylor Swift knew just how to help one star-struck fan who felt overwhelmed when they met her.

According to the Swiftie's account shared online, the singer went above and beyond to put them at ease and they made memories that will last a lifetime.

The lucky fan was attending the Reputation Tour when they were selected to meet the superstar, according to a Reddit post. They said: "I got chosen to go to rep room by Andrea while Taylor was singing Dress on one of the b stages. It was incredible."

"The rep room was like the bat cave. It had all her music video outfits in cases like super suits. I got to sit in the throne from the music video Look What You Made Me Do.

She had Polaroid cameras out for all of us so we could take our own photos. She had pizza and sodas and water set out for us."

But it wasn't just the thoughtful touches that delighted the fan. They also got the chance to spend time with Taylor's mum, Andrea Swift.

They said: "Andrea would sit and chat with us before we got to go to the picture booth to meet Taylor."

Best of all, the fan reportedly enjoyed one-on-one time with the artist.

They added: "When I met her she was sparkling. Sounds cheesy. But seriously she’s somehow even more beautiful in person.

"She smelled amazing, she gave me a total of four hugs because I was so star stuck I could barely say a word to her and I think she knew it lol the last hug she gave me she went, 'tsk awwwww' cuz I couldn’t move."

The fan said their mum also shared a special moment with the singer. The fan said: "My mom took her hands and gave her this HUUUGE speech about how she’s such an inspiration and that she shouldn’t listen to the haters. She said 'let's smush faces!' And then we all took a photo."

Another fan also posted her experience with meeting the superstar. In her post as TSTrack5Stan, the Swiftie explained that she met the superstar in the early days of her career.

She claimed: "Before I met her Andrea came up to me in line (back then we didn’t know Andrea) and said 'omg you look just like my daughter!' I didn’t know her daughter was Taylor. Then I got to Taylor and handed Andrea my digital camera she goes 'I told you - you look like my daughter!'"
