Jack Catterall and Regis Prograis will finally go head-to-head later this evening after the Brit was forced to pull out of the original contest earlier this summer

After months of anticipation, super-lightweight stars Jack Catterall and Regis Prograis will finally settle their score in the ring later this evening.

The pair were scheduled to go glove-to-glove earlier this summer, however, Catterall had to withdraw from the bout due to an injury. After suffering a controversial defeat to Josh Taylor two years ago, the Chorley fighter has been on an absolute tear. The 31-year-old defeated Darragh Foley and Jorge Linares before finally getting his revenge over Taylor back in May.

As for Prograis, the 35-year-old has held two of the division's major world titles over the years. After suffering the first defeat of his career against Josh Taylor back in 2019, the American went on a five fight winning streak, defeating the likes of Ivan Redkach, Jose Zepeda and Danielito Zorrilla. He comes into the showdown with the Brit off the back of a defeat against Devin Haney back in December. Here is everything you need to know about tonight's fights...

What time will Jack Catterall vs Regis Prograis start in the UK?

The event will take place at the Co-op Live arena in Manchester, with the main undercard due to begin at around 7pm UK time, 2pm ET, and 11am PT. The main event ring walks will likely take place at around 10.30pm UK time. The two stars will then touch gloves shortly after and before the first bell sounds. The fight should not start later than this but could be brought forward if the undercard fights are completed earlier than expected.

Jack Catterall: “I think if you look at Regis now, his last two performances have probably been below par. I think that the Regis I’m fighting next is probably a hungry and driven Regis. That’s what I’m excited for, the fact that he’s been world champion twice and he’s hungry to become a three-time world champion. He lost his belt in his last fight so I think he’ll be super motivated for this fight to get back on track and get a win. That gives me the fire in my belly and gets me excited knowing that I’m getting a hungry and determined Regis coming to fight me in Manchester.”

Regis Prograis: “It’s one step closer to becoming a three-time champion. You know, that’s something I really, really want. It’s something that, for me, I have Muhammad Ali [tatted on my arm], that’s something he did. He became a three-time champion and that’s something that I really want. I know Jack wants to be a world champion also but for me, I did it twice already and I’m going to do it again.”
