Married At First Sight's Peggy Rose rushed to hospital after suffering accident

Peggy Rose recently had her heart broken as she accused her Married at First Sight husband of being unfaithful - and now she has new pain to deal with as she has injured her arm

Married at First Sight star Peggy Rose has been rushed to hospital after suffering an injury.

The 33-year-old reality star found fame on E4's chaotic dating show last year when she swapped vows with 31-year-old Georges Berthonneau. The marriage did not last - and now Peggy has more than just her broken heart to contend with as she has revealed she had to seek out some emergency medical attention.

Taking to social media on Monday, the TV star revealed she had been rushed to hospital. She alarmed fans when she shared a photograph from inside a hospital with a sign clearly stating: "Urgent Care Centre". She shared the snap alongside a caption that stated: "Happy Monday to me, what am I like" - alongside a crying face emoji.

In a follow up Instagram story, she shared a picture of her right hand and wrist and wrote: "Thanks for all of your messages. It's nothing serious, though; I'm just a clumsy Charlie. I am still waiting (which is hard for me because I am always busy rushing here, there, and everywhere trying to do too much), but my lesson to slow down has been well and truly learned. For your amusement (and my embarrassment), I have been reminiscing over some of my clumsiest moments..."

She then shared footage of herself falling over outside her house in April 2022, slamming herself onto the brick floor in front of her car. She wrote a caption stating: "Excuse the language, we’re a passionate family haha!" And more footage showed her falling outside her house another time in July 2023.

She wrote alongside the footage: "Lifting a heavy suitcase getting ready for my vintage clothes stall. Handle snapped and I went flying through my front door." She later shared a photo of her arm as it is today and she was undergoing tests to find out if it was sprained or broken. Peggy's latest accident comes days after she lashed out at her Married at First Sight husband, Georges.

In a scathing interview, the reality star accused her ex of being unfaithful, telling The Sun: “When you are in the public eye, you can't get away with anything. You can't cheat on someone and expect to get away with it. You can't talk to another girl without people seeing it." She added: "I was heartbroken. I remember crying my eyes out. I feel like I trusted my gut in the show, which is a bit hard because I did put Georges before my family, and despite my family's concerns about Georges, I did go with my gut. And to be fair, my family ended up loving Georges, which is hard because they trusted him too."

She went on to reveal she is dating someone new, saying: “This person isn't in the public eye. He's just a normal guy, he's not a millionaire.” Georges, meanwhile, has denied any wrongdoing during his relationship with Peggy and has insisted he was always faithful to her.
