Molly-Mae 'upset' about Tommy's book and feels he's 'gone too far'

Molly-Mae Hague is 'upset' over ex Tommy Fury's tell-all book, with a source exclusively saying that the reality star feels Tommy has 'gone too far' with the revelations

Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury's romance seemed like a fairytale since their first encounter on Love Island in 2019, but just two months ago, their relationship hit the rocks. Amid swirling cheating allegations, which Tommy has vehemently denied, the couple called it quits, vowing to remain amicable, as reported in OK!.

However, with Tommy's explosive new book set to reveal intimate details of their five-year romance, the truth could be far more complex. The book, already in the pipeline before their breakup, includes an additional chapter reflecting recent events. On Instagram, Tommy shared: "Hey guys, hope you're all doing okay. As you all know, the past month for me hasn't been easy but I've been having a lot of questions regarding my book Lightning Can Strike Twice. I've also tried to keep it as current as I can for you guys. I've written an extra chapter, obviously discussing what's been going on this past month. So yeah, just wanted to say that the book is still going ahead."

With bombshells like their fiery argument moments before his proposal, Molly-Mae's pregnancy, and the birth of Bambi, their one year old daughter, sources claim Molly-Mae is devastated by the book's content. A source said: "Molly-Mae has been left really upset by Tommy's book even though she knew it was coming out as he'd been working on it for a while. She feels he has gone too far with revelations about their relationship as, although they had met on a TV show, she has always wanted to keep a lot of stuff back."

They added, "It's very embarrassing for her, Molly feels that some things should be kept private. Obviously they are being as amicable as they can for Bambi's sake but Molly just wants to move on and focus on all the positives in her life rather than all the hurt she's been through recently."

The couple, who captured hearts and came second on Love Island's fifth series, sent shockwaves across the nation when they confirmed their split to their huge social media following. In a heartfelt post to her 7.9 million Instagram fans, a devastated Molly-Mae shared: "Never in a million years did I think I'd ever have to write this. After five years together I never thought our story would end, especially not this way. I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy's relationship has come to an end."

Tommy, on his part, expressed his sorrow on the same platform, insisting he was "heartbroken" and pleading for discretion during this difficult time. Despite their separation, he appreciatively acknowledged Molly-Mae's role in his life, penning: "Thank you for making me a dad", and mentioned Bambi being their joint top concern.

A source revealed, "She has already written her own book but she has been inundated with offers to tell her side of the story in a new tell-all. But Molly just wants to concentrate on her new fashion line and be taken seriously as a businesswoman and feels Tommy's revelations are tarnishing this."

The anticipation for Maebe boomed following a vibrant pop-up event, with fans eagerly anticipating its online debut. Through ups and downs, Molly-Mae epitomised professionalism and even hinted at entering a "new era" after parting ways with her partner, reflecting on her transformation since bringing daughter Bambi into the world in January 2023.

She confessed: "I have a really good feeling about this new era of my life and think it's going to be so special and a great thing for me to focus on and put my time into as well as being a mum to Bambi."

Meanwhile, our insider disclosed that she’s distancing herself from Tommy for now as she looks forward to what's next. They shared: "This is her new era and is keen to be seen as a hard-working single mum and doesn't want to be dragged down to his level. That's not to say that she won't do a book or a big tell-all in the future but she wants the timing to be right and she will do it with class."
