Man in his 30s dies after falling down double-decker bus stairs in freak accident
A man aged in his 30s has died after falling down the stairs on a double-decker bus near Westgate shopping centre in Oxford with emergency services rushing to the scene to try and save him

He suffered serious injuries in the freak accident on a Oxford Company bus near Westgate shopping centre on October 26. Thames Valley Air Ambulance, Thames Valley Police and South Central Ambulance Service raced to the scene. The man was then rushed to the nearby John Radcliffe Hospital where he sadly died of his injuries last Thursday.
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said that an investigation is ongoing and that specially trained family liaison officers are supporting the man's family.
They added: "Our thoughts and sincere condolences are with the family and friends of the man who has died. The man’s death is being treated as unexplained, but not suspicious, and file will be prepared for the Oxfordshire coroner."
