Victoria Beckham looks fraught ahead of 2024 Paris Fashion Week show

Victoria Beckham was spotted with a concerned expression as she moved around Paris ahead of her upcoming fashion show. She is expected to be supported by family at the event on Friday.

Victoria Beckham looked fraught hours ahead of her latest fashion week show.

The 50-year-old former Spice Girl is the head of her self-titled fashion label - which will be showing as part of Paris Fashion Week this weekend. The ex-singer has put together her collection to showcase at a catwalk show in the French capital on Friday night - with the first model expected to hit the runway at 7:30pm UK time.

With lots to do before the show begins, Vicky looked somewhat distracted as she moved around the city. Wearing a simple sleeveless black top and flared black trousers, the Holler singer was spotted tightly gripping her iPhone as she hopped in and out of a car.

An assistant held an umbrella for the star, and she was almost dwarfed by the tan coloured leather oversized bag that she had slung over one shoulder. Vicky accessorised with some simple silver bracelets and flashed a golden watch. The singer-turned-designer has been plugging her upcoming show - which is part of the Paris shows of the Ready To Wear week.

On her Instagram, she uploaded moody footage of long flowing pieces of fabric and told fans around the world how to tune in to see her show. She wrote online: "Victoria Beckham Spring Summer 2025. Watch the runway show on Instagram Live, Friday 27 September. 19:30 BST / 20:30 CEST / 14:30 EST #VictoriaBeckham #VBSS25."

Ahead of the show, Victoria has been joined by her son Romeo, her son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz, who are expected to turn out to support the show. Vicky previously explained that she can become overcome with emotion after presenting her fashion shows.

She told America's Today show in 2022: “I was so emotional because it’s such a big deal for me to have a show in Paris. It was a real highlight of my career. I had my family there. I had my friends there. And I felt so proud of my team.

"I was planning on coming out and having a very cool picture taken and I just broke down when I saw my husband and my children, who are so supportive of what I do. I was just very, very happy."

Victoria used to show at London Fashion Week, but quit the UK capital for France in 2022 and has not returned. Despite being well connected in the celebrity world, Victoria has struggled to attract megastars at her show front rows.

While the likes of tennis legend Maria Sharapova and Australian model Shanina Shaik - as well as Vicky's own husband Dave - have showed up to watch the frocks being displayed, the super famous, such as Kate Moss or Natalie Portman, tend to attend more classic and high end fashion shows. The former Spice Girl has had a troubled history with her brand - with reports previously claiming her company had created debts of £66.3million, this despite the Beckham family being worth over £300 million.

The designer was slammed during the pandemic when it was discovered she took money from the UK government's taxpayer funded furlough system to pay her staff, rather than delve into her own multimillion fortune.
