West Ham and Manchester United fans hoping to watch their Premier League clash in the UK will be sorely disappointed as their 2pm kick-off is not being broadcast live

Two sides in desperate need of some consistency meet as West Ham welcome Manchester United to the London Stadium.

It's been a turbulent start to the Premier League season for both sides. The Hammers have won just twice in their opening eight games and are coming off the back of a 4-1 hammering away at Tottenham last weekend.

United, meanwhile, picked up their third victory of the campaign against Brentford to ease the pressure on boss Erik ten Hag. But the Dutchman knows he needs to keep up the winning ways if he's to cement his long-term future.

Kick-off in east London is set for 2pm this afternoon (October 27). But fans in the UK won't be able to watch it live unless they're inside the ground.

Why is West Ham vs Man Utd not on TV in UK?

United play on Sunday due to their Europa League commitments, having only played Fenerbahce away in Turkey on Thursday evening. It's the same situation with Tottenham, who travel to Crystal Palace, and Chelsea, who host Newcastle, in the other 2pm games.

But Sky Sports are only able to broadcast two fixtures on Sunday. Arsenal vs Liverpool, kicking off at 4:30pm, is the main event, and they selected the match at Stamford Bridge as the other.

From next season, all games that aren't scheduled for 3pm on Saturday will be broadcast live in the UK as part of the Premier League's new TV deal. But for now, that's not the case.

How to watch West Ham vs Man Utd

While the game won't be shown in the UK, it will be broadcast via local Premier League TV rights holders in other countries. Sky Germany have selected it for coverage.

Canal+ have done the same in France, as have Qatari network beIN Sports. In the United States, NBCUniversal have the rights to all 380 games in the Premier League this season.

For those in the UK, highlights will be available on Sky Sports shortly after full-time. Extended highlights will be shown on Match of the Day 2 from 10:30pm on BBC One.
