by · The Mirror

Anthony Joshua is at most 36 minutes away from becoming a three-time heavyweight world champion.

Joshua has fought back from losing his belts to Oleksandr Usyk - before suffering defeat in their rematch - to win four successive fights to return himself to world title contention. He now stands one win away from a fight for the undisputed crown against either Usyk or Fury who clash for a second time in December.

But standing in Joshua's way is Daniel Dubois who was upgraded to world champion after Usyk gave up his IBF belt before he was stripped following his win over Fury in May. Dubois has also fought back from a defeat by the Ukrainian, beating Jarrell Miller and Filip Hrgovic to ultimately become champion.

Quotes corner

Anthony Joshua: "It's fine margins in this game. I'm not here to say I'm the most talented in the game; I'm not Sugar Ray Robinson, Henry Armstrong, I'm not saying I'm cut from that cloth. They're phenomenal fighters, so what I have to do is the extra work to make it up and become a standard fighter of heavyweight history, I need to work extremely hard to get close to those guys. I don't want any respect from anyone, especially not in this game. I want to earn it, i don't want to earn it and I have a chance to do that on Saturday. Everything I've done previously is wiped out, it's a fresh start. The past is the past and this is the present."

Daniel Dubois: "It's going to be a great night, the world is going to be watching so it's up to me... I've built up a momentum in the last two fights so let's keep it going. I think this is coming at the right time now, they should have got me when I was all over the pace back then. Now I'm more together and I'm more secure in myself as a fighter. This is boxing, things erupt, but this is boxing and I need to show them on the night that I'm the better man. You leave no stone unturned and go out there ready for war and to do the business."
