Cruz Beckham's girlfriend seemingly brushes off trolls over age-gap backlash

Victoria Beckham's son Cruz Beckham's relationship with songwriter Jackie Aposte has attracted much attention in recent weeks over the apparent age-gap between the pair

Jackie Apostel appeared to brush off backlash over her relationship with Cruz Beckham in a post this week amid them attracting attention over the age-gap between them.

Cruz, 19, and songwriter Jackie, understood to be 29, have been romantically linked for months. They have been spotted out together on several occasions and she's met his family, including his parents Victoria Beckham, 50, and David Beckham, 49.

The pair have attracted attention recently, including over the apparent age-gap between them, and some people have questioned the relationship. There has been some criticism of Jackie over her relationship with Cruz.

She however appeared to brush off any backlash on social media in a post on her Instagram Story this week. Jackie, who is thought to have been born in Brazil but also spent time in Germany growing up, shared the post on Thursday.

The post, which originated on another account, included a meme of someone lying with their head and upper back on the floor, but the rest of their body in the air. The caption read: "Imagine ur talking shii abt me and I'm just in my bed doing this." Jackie shared it shortly after having uploaded a photo of herself and Cruz cosied up together.

Cruz has been linked to Jackie since April and they have been spotted together in various countries, including France, over the months since then. Recently they were said to have "packed on the PDA" whilst out in the US.

They are said to have first gone public with the relationship at Glastonbury in June and earlier this month Cruz shared his love for Jackie in a post marking her birthday. She's met Cruz's parents and his siblings Brooklyn Beckham, 25, Romeo Beckham, 22, and Harper Beckham, 13.

Jackie is thought to have his mother Victoria's approval, with her having been included in a post about "family and friends" shared last month. Jackie had been among the guests at the fashion designer's latest Paris Fashion Week show just weeks ago, alongside Brooklyn's wife Nicola Peltz and some of Victoria's celebrity pals like Eva Longoria.

Victoria shared a series of photos after her show to mark the occasion. One of them showed Jackie sat beside Cruz, with his siblings Romeo and Harper seen on each side of them. Victoria wrote in the caption of the post: "So grateful for my amazing family and friends… Thank you for coming to my #VBSS25 show!! Bisous."

More recently, Jackie was spotted at a football game with his family. She was seen attending a match between David's team Inter Miami and rivals the New England Revolution in Fort Lauderdale. It was reported at the time that they seemed "smitten" at the game, where she was seen beside Cruz.
