Pete Wicks' 'love triangle' with Strictly's Jowita and Maura Higgins isn't a surprise, says his ex

Chloe Sims has revealed the dating rumours surrounding her ex and former TOWIE co-star Pete Wicks don't surprise her as he's linked with Jowita Przystal and Maura Higgins

Pete Wicks' former girlfriend has admitted his potential love triangle with Jowita Przystal and Maura Higgins isn't a surprise to her.

Former TOWIE star Chloe Sims has revealed the "magic power" he possesses as he continues to be linked with the Strictly dancer and former Love Island star. Pete and Maura have been spotted on a number of occasions and shared a few pecks, while his relationship with his Strictly partner has also caught the eye.

Now, Chloe, 42, who dated Pete, 36, in secret for two years claims he holds a gift that can even woo "straight men". She confessed the podcaster was far from her type but she fell hard for his charm.

Speaking to MailOnline, Chloe said: "Pete is a right bloody charmer, even men go silly for him, straight men. I used to look at him and think, what has this guy got? It's so bizarre, men love him, women love him, older women, younger women, he's just got something, this charm about him.

"I can see why all these women would be linked to him, they probably are, there's no smoke without fire. I can see why people end up in these relationships on Strictly, they are spending all that time up close and personal, and I can see how these romances happen."

She went on to label him a "natural born flirt" before joking he must hold some sort of magic power. And Chloe, who currently lives in the United States, said such is his pull it's even opened doors that would not have usually been possible. "But he must have that to even be on Strictly because they publicly said they would never have TOWIE on there so that's how strong his charm is."

Pete recently opened up on his dating life in a chat with Olivia Attwood. Speaking on her podcast he confessed: 'I'm constantly connected with everyone.' Speaking of the link with Maura, he said: "Me and Maura have known each other for a long time… She is lovely. She is attractive. I think Maura is great and we get on very well and we have done for a very long time.'

He went on to deny the pair were an item. Throughout his time in the limelight, Pete has continuously been linked with other celebs. His former girlfriends include the likes of former TOWIE stars Jess Wright, Megan McKenna and Shelby Tribble, while he was also known to have dated Ella Rae Wise.

Away from his dating life, the star holds family members close. His cherished Nan and "best friend" Doreen sadly died in 2022, leaving Pete heartbroken. He has opened up about her health struggles over a seven year period before her death in his book Never Enough, writing: "The day she died, I had been in London seeing friends. Mum called me and told me I needed to get to the hospital quickly.

"Mum and I sat either side of her, holding each hand. I can remember the last words she said to me as if it were yesterday: 'You're my soulmate'."
